My work process is methodical, proceeding in clear phases. Sometimes, the process is swift, other times it takes a little bit longer. Patience is a key ingredient and I take great care to find the right solution for every project.
I start by getting to know you, your needs, your values and your vision. Ideally, the whole process is collaborative, involving a productive dialog.
I go into a frenzy of gathering information, ideas and visual inspiration to get the creative juices flowing. My head is a huge catalog of styles, ideas and trends and I mix and match to find the perfect fit.
I let all the information stew in my head for a while, preferably on a walk, a bike ride or in the shower. It is important to me that my designs are not just based on pure aesthetics and visual trends, but rooted in a solid idea.
When I’ve come up with an idea or a direction that I think could work, I start developing mood boards, sketches and wireframes, exploring a few different design directions.
This is where the hard work starts; perseverance is key. As the final idea emerges from the exploratory process, I sit down to craft the outcome with great attention to detail. My work isn’t finished until everyone is satisfied with the results.
WHAT I DO
My independent, Berlin-based design studio offers an array of creative services to clients in need of fresh ideas.
As a visual designer and art director, I have experience and expertise in many different areas of design. I live and breathe all things visual, from web- and multimedia design to print, illustration and photography – I believe that strong design translates across all areas and disciplines.
On all projects I work on I value a high level of execution. I combine craftsmanship with innovative thinking to deliver beautifully built custom solutions. Being a class A multitasker I work as efficiently as possible while never losing sight of the broader aims of a project. I’m committed to continually expanding my ideas and skills, whether it’s through work or play.
